UPCOMING PERFORMANCES
Last year, pianist Gary Goodman recorded Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 and Concerto No. 2. His video recording project for this year focuses on Rachmaninoff. On Wednesday, June 24, 7:30pm, he will play Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 at a house concert, with the orchestral accompaniment played on second piano by Karen Schwartz.

Flutist Pamela Sklar will be playing Renaissance music for flute and harp with harpist Alyssa Reit at Wildcliff Mansion in New Rochelle on Saturday, June 27 at 5:00pm, as a prelude to an outdoor performance of Shakespeare’s play “Much Ado About Nothing.” At 7:00pm the same day, Pamela will be playing with chamber ensemble Angels in the Chamber on the “Art at the Station Concert Series” at the New Rochelle Train Station.

Pianist Emilia Oskotsky is the founder and director of Musical Life Foundation. The organization holds annual auditions to select talented students to play in performances in NYC recital venues. Several students of pianist Vered Reznik were selected to perform this season:
Aidan Guo played on the First Place Winners’ Performance at Weill Recital Hall/ Carnegie Hall on May 28; Benjamin Vaculin and Francesca Asmar will play on the Second Place Winners’ Performance at Merkin Concert Hall on June 20th.

Associate WMG Member and sarod player Satyaki Dutta is organizing events featuring Indian Classical Music at the Hammond Museum in North Salem on Saturday, August 8, 2026. The free lecture-demonstration will start at 2:00pm, followed by a student performance at 4:45pm; the main concert will start at 5:30pm. PAST PERFORMANCES
Sunday, June 14, 2026, St. Thomas Church in Mamaroneck. The Talent Den presented The Enchanted Elevator, an original production written and directed by Andrea Bennett, featuring young performing artists ages 13–17. It is a mixed-genre show: a stage play and a recital, which includes live classical piano performance from all levels and musical theater vocal performances.
Sunday, March 22, 2026: a special two-piano concert featuring WMG member Vered Reznik, along with colleague Eleonora Rotshteyn, presented a program of some of their favorite music for two pianos by Bach, Brahms, Bolcom, and Milhaud.
Saturday, February 7, 2026, Hackley School, Tarrytown: The Excelsior Symphony Orchestra performed their winter concert, which was dedicated to the memory of conductor (and long-time Westchester Musicians Guild member) Bill Eckfeld. WMG member oboist Heidi Chisholm performed with the orchestra in Mendelssohn’s Italian Symphony.
Sunday, December 13, 2025: Pamela Sklar (composer, flute, and Native American flute) and Joyce Balint (violin and mandolin) performed a program of seasonal music at St. Paul’s Church in Mount Vernon.
Sunday, November 23, 2025. Westchester Chamber Soloists with Bernard Tamosaitis, guest conductor, performed at Sarah Lawrence College. Pianist Sayuri Iida was the soloist for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24 in C Minor. Bernard Tamosaitis was the cello soloist for Dvorak’s Silent Woods.
November 16, 2025. Flutist Pamela Sklar performed in Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto #5 for “Mostly Bach 2025” at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mamaroneck.
Saturday, November 15, 2025. The Excelsior Symphony Orchestra – William Eckfeld, conductor, and Heidi Chisholm, oboe – in concert at the White Plains High School, performed works by R. Strauss, J. Sibelius, and L. van Beethoven.
Saturday, November 8, 2025. Associate WMG Member and sarod player Satyaki Dutta presented a workshop in Indian Classical Music at the Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden in North Salem.
Sunday, November 2, 2025, 12:30pm. Celebrating his 35 years as Music Director of the Community Unitarian Universalist Congregation in White Plains, pianist Adam Kent performed a concert of works by Mozart, Schubert, and Granados.
