Who We Are

Are you a professional music teacher or performer? an amateur musician? an appreciative listener? If so, perhaps you would like to know more about the Westchester Musicians Guild (WMG).
The WMG promotes goodwill and fellowship among professional musicians and music devotees in our community by sponsoring a variety of formal and informal events, including professional chamber music concerts, informal Play-Ins, and a Winter Concert and Party. The WMG supports the advancement of young musicians through our student recitals, the WMG Young Artists Concert, and scholarship awards. A Newsletter is published twice a year, and information about upcoming performances by WMG members is posted on this web site.

The Westchester Musicians Guild was founded in 1938 for the purpose of encouraging and upholding the highest standards of music teaching and performance. Two categories of membership are available: Professional (for professional teachers and performers) and Associate (for avocational performers and anyone else who loves music). All performance events are open free of charge to all WMG members; only Professional members may register their students for the Student Recitals and enter students in the Young Artists competition.
If you would like more information about WMG events and membership, please contact us.
WMG is an Affiliate of ArtsWestchester.
